Traffic Exchanges - Fake or Fame?

I recently read an ebook about getting traffic using traffic exchanges - I never used them before -
so I signed up with a couple and started surfing to earn some points.

Most of the tactics taught by this ebook wouldnt work - cheating is almost
impossible and its so boring I almost felt asleep! LOL
The only thing which might work is buying points - they are quite cheap but
I doubt that you will get much leads let alone sales...

Maybe I missed out on the real secrets???

Trying to get traffic to your new website or to your gateway pages for an affiliate program can be difficult if you are just starting out and have little or no advertising budget.

Problem with traffic exchanges is you are only getting traffic, not customers or quality visits. Your site is only being shown to others surfing for points. Did you show any interest in any of the sites you saw? I bet 90% were some kind of Get Paid, Get Rich, pyramid scheme deal.

Get quality visits by optimizing your keywords, starting a blog, posting in forums with link in sig, etc.

Have read many mixed reviews on traffic exchanges......most seem to be full of opportunity seekers....

However, if you direct the traffic to a strong splash page, you may realize some results...
