TickleTrain.com can send emails on a schedule for you and it's very simple to use. The service gets activated by including a special email address in the bcc field.... and you can send out multiple emails in succession. I use it to follow-up on invoices. After a certain period of time, tickletrain sends out an email for me if I have not received payment from my customers and the email looks like it was sent from me... it has helped me significantly in saving time and staying on top of things.

Almost all the email marketing tools have this feature, simply you can use Outlook as well and send emails according to the schedule.

Tickletrain is really easy, comfortable and not pricey software. I use it to follow-up on my invoices. You set the email content and the schedule. You just have to include a special email address in the bcc field of your email and that activates the follow-up. Hope it will be helpful for your needs.
