It's definitely a good way to drive some traffic to your website. There is another website similar to it and it is called del . icio . us, it also drives traffic to your website.

Personally, i think Digg is the best out of the them all. I think that Digg drives a lot more traffic, once you get at least 25 diggs or more.

Stumble for me is the easiest to use because it is already integrated in your firefox browser.

StumbleUpon IS a very good source for traffic but there are three things
you MUST do to get the right traffic for your site and lots of it.

1) You MUST MUST MUST use the best quality content that you have and
this needs to be on your blog. Your blog needs to be set up so that it is
brain dead simple to navigate for first time visitors.

2) You MUST be able to get 50 StumbleUpon users to give your site a
thumbs up vote and fast as this will get the correct attention from the
StumbleUpon site who will show your site to other StumbleUpon members
and lots of them. This is where the quality of your content plays the
***** role.

When your site is shown to other StumbeUpon users they must find it
interesting enough to give it a thumbs up. StumbleUpon monitor the
view to vote ratio which means if 1000 people view your site but none
of them vote it a thumbs up then StumbleUpon will reclass your content
as not worth showing to other members - the traffic to your site from
SU will die a sudden death.

BUT if your content is of good enough quality to interest the SU users
to give it a thumbs up vote then SU will continue to show it to more and
more users until the view to vote ratio declines.

3) You MUST use the right tags and choose the right category for your site.
This means that YOU must be the one who first Stumbles your site so
that you can ensure it is sumbitted correctly.

These are the basics of getting 10,000's of visitors from SU to your site.
All you need is the first 50 quality votes to give things the push start.

If you are going to use a sales page of your site to submit to SU then
you're wasting your time. It doesn't work, even with the 50 quality
votes to give it a push start.
