How to boost website traffic?

[soljenn]

Hi all,

I recently launched my personal job site. It has the latest job info and tips on interview preparation. I have considerable knowledge about link exchange and SEO and I used the same on my site. I promoted it on Twitter, Facebook, Orkut, etc. I want to promote my site extensively. I am looking for a way to boost traffic to my site. I want it to rank really high in search engines. Is anyone aware of the metrics to rank really high in Google? Does the number of pages matter when it comes to ranking a site higher?

If u want your website in top 10 ranking than most of the keywords must be in top 10 and also require lots of off page submission.
