    Can a site can sustain without SEO?

    SEO seems to gaining more and more significance with time. But being relatively new in online business I am unsure about need and importance of SEO? Therefore I want to extend my knowledge and want to learn prominent practices of SEO to augment sales and traffic. I would also like to know whether a site can sustain without SEO or not? There are many sites that have earned reputation without SEO, so is it possible nowadays? Can SEO also aid in expansion of offline business? Please give feasible and reliable answers to my queries. Thanks in advance.

    Yes, it can... 100% it can. There are two types of SEO. One is On page and another is off page optimization. On page is in your hand and off page is not in your hand(even though there is some way like forum, directory posting, link building). Do on page and leave the rest to Google. Wait and see the result.

      A website cannot sustain without search engine optimization. You need to do seo to build your online identity and ranking in search engines.

        It depends on content if your content is unique or quality then getting natural backlinks from the different website, but its long process of any website. So we used SEO for getting the earlier result.

            I would suggest everyone to not get over-carried by Google, just do SEO for the sake of traffic and popularity, Google will follow you for it's own sake.

              Yes, a website can be made popular without SEO too. But for this initially you need to take efforts to popularize your website with the help of content marketing, i.e. through Article Submission, Blog Submission, Guest Posting.

              In starting you need to do SEO of a website both On-Page and Off-Page, and later you can stop doing Off-Page SEO.
