Home page linking vs deep linking

A lot of people tend to get confused between home page listing and deep listing. I would like to shed light on the same. Home page listing involves listing all the keywords for your homepage. It can get you quick backlinks and a good position in SERPS. It is allowed. However, as far as deep page linking is concerned, it is not allowed by forums for free. It is not easy to get backlinks for deep page linking. If you are looking to popularize your website, you should consider home page linking. This is just my personal opinion.

I prefer links for my inner pages. It is little bit hard to generate baclinks for inner pagers but if we don't take good efforts, can't see satisfactory results. We are having lots of options to generate backlinks, not just directory submission. Every generated backlink should count worth and worthless backlinks are just useless.
