We had a client that already owned a home, but wanted to buy a home for her quadriplegic son. Her son didn’t qualify for a loan on his own and wasn’t even able to sign the loan disclosures. It would have be difficult to put him on the loan.

But we found a solution. Fannie Mae has a provision where she can buy another primary residence in her name only for her disabled son.

She is very, very grateful. Now it allows him to have his own place while they still have a low rate and didn’t have to put a lot of money down.
