Google sandbox is something about which I am very curious. I really want to know about it in detail. I want to know whether there is something like this in reality. I am completely confused about its existence due to the hype and excitement. It is said that if a site uses any unethical techniques to be successful, then that site is sent to the sandbox. What is your opinion regarding this? I heard that the same system is applicable in case of Yahoo and MSN. Are some steps there by which one can avoid the sandbox? How do you yourself protect your site? Please help me regarding this.

First Sandbox is reality, and normally new sites faces this effect just because of over trying things and rank quickly on search engine. To avoid sandbox best is to work naturally ,no need to over try things or use black hat SEO techniques. Don't give thousand of backlinks to new site at once, do manual link building instead of using any automatic software for submission. -
if you do some black hat stuff, your website will get into a sandbox. Meaning, your site will stay at the bottom of the serps for a long long time even though you were ranked at top on the first page.Comment

One of my site was in Sandbox and it took me 7 weeks to get out of them. I don't know how it happened but it happened.Comment

It may seem that the Sandbox is unfair to newly launched websites, but Google created the Sandbox with good reasons. Google was trying to discourage spam sites from quickly reaching the top of Search Results, getting dropped off Google, creating a new site and repeatedly showing up high in Search Results. In the past, companies would put up a promotional website for a short period of time and once the promotion was over the website was gone. These promotional websites would still show up high in Google Search Engine Results even after they were removed, causing many broken links and unhappy Google searchers.Comment
