Just go to Volcanoes Nationwide National Park.. Even if the lava isn't streaming the day you get there, you will see awesome websites. Mauna Kea requires fairly well a complete day because as someone else responded you need a chance to adjust to the elevation as you go up. Seeing just one awesome position on the Big Isle provides you with a excellent reason to go returning. You will keep Hawaii islands seeking more!
