Where is a good place to rent a dedicated server to use as a gaming server? I have been considering opening up one. I know some servers don't like gaming platforms.

Actually I've seen that template on a few different webhosts. Not to say that they aren't good, but you can't go by their layout on their page. Appreciate the find though. I will check some of their reviews and see what I find out.

I think that your request is specific one. I recommend you ask your company before sign up. I would suggest Rackspace.com, ahosting.biz, Leasweb.com (must be the one you will love). And I think that you need to put your request somewhere else as well. On gaming related community I guess.
