How much should I expect to pay for a good dedicated server?

I'm looking at dedicated servers at the moment, and I'm finding that the pricing can be all over the place.

For a normal website or application, I can understand choosing a standard server, but I'm also looking at a GPU dedicated server for some workloads that need more processing power. The price difference can be pretty significant, though.

I'm also seeing a lot of offers for a cheap dedicated server, but I'm trying not to focus only on the monthly price. A server that looks cheap initially can become expensive if you need extra RAM, storage, bandwidth, IPs, or management.

For those who have recently compared providers, what would you consider a reasonable dedicated server hosting price?

I'm mainly trying to understand what actually affects the dedicated server price:

• CPU generation and number of cores
• RAM and storage
• Network speed and bandwidth
• Server location
• DDoS protection
• Management/support
• Hardware replacement and uptime guarantees

For a regular business website, would you rather go with a lower-cost dedicated server and upgrade later, or spend more upfront for better hardware?

And for anyone using a GPU server, is the extra cost usually worth it for your workload?
