I am really intrigued about the reseller business. Is it really an easy and effortless way to make money?

first of all let me tell you that hosting business is a profitable industry, BUT it's not that easy way you think. you will be responsible for your customers' sites and when they need help you should be ready to help.
I'm not scaring you mate, it's not that hard but what I means it needs some work

It is depend upon your support that you will provide to your customer and their are many competitor in same business you have to challenge them also

Is the charge made according to actual usage or are you expected to pre-pay for a potential overage? It is better not to go for hosts that expect you to prepay for overages, since it is very hard to forsee when your site will exceed its bandwidth and by how much.

It all depends on your level of knowledge. If you know a lot about certain things, then it's easy. However, you need to have a quite budget to enter in reseller's hosting stuff. I would recommend you to start with shared hosting offers first.

It is only easy as you make it, but it may take real effort to make it easy as well. Its not a quick buck, all though it can be extremely profitable, but the catch is you need many customers to make a nice profit in a over crowded industry.

Reseller Hosting plans do make it easier as it just requires you to take care of your customers with out worrying about the server side. But expect to put more than a year in your business to make it work.
