Dedicated Server or Reseller?

Is it better to just get a dedicated server at the start or try to keep the costs low with a reseller account? I would think that if you plan to have the business expand, a dedicated server would be a must. Otherwise it would surely lead to customer problems later on?

In my opinion, it's better to get a dedicated server. You can make money off of both of them, in the same way even, but you own the dedicated server and have no one else to answer to or please.

I think that reselling is the best option to start with. Dedicated server is the next level. I think that it worth also start with the company which have both dedicated server and reseller accounts.

Dedicated servers are best to stick with. Reseller is still shared among other resellers, with a dedicated server you can take full control. A good company made for this (speed and support) is Top Hosting Center . Take a lot.

If you're starting off, its no use wasting your money on a dedicated box. Just get a shared plan from a decent provider and you're good to go.

I think reseller options are the best point to start from. The reseller account is not only saves your expenditures, but helps to gain profit.

I can give you an advice - after you realize what exactly do you need - dedi or reseller, - try to look through as many offer as possible to make a correct choise of a provider.

Do you know a lot about dedicated servers and reseller hosting? It wouldn't really be a good idea for you to just jump right into it.
If you know what you're doing than starting off with a dedicated server and getting reseller hosting to cover some of the costs would be a good idea.

if you can afford a dedi right off the bat, that's what you should go with, but I've come across many hosts who start off small and expand as they grow.

A low end dedicated is always best but if you cannot afford to sustain it out of your own pocket for at least 3-4 months then I would get a reseller instead. For a dedicated server you'll have to be willing to lose money for the first few months so it ends up costing A LOT.

its better buy a master reseller account than a dedicated, you have to do a hard work when you buy a dedicated server, you have to design your system secure, reliable by your self, but if you buy a master reseller account its more easy, just like a regular reseller account, but for next level maybe you can consider the dedicated server

It is possible to resell from dedicated server: exmasters.com and other companies aloow reselling from their dedis and even usual shared accounts. Though this is harder then having a reseller account, but it does not make you obligó any contracts.

^^ Yeah. I think such composition is also possible. moreover exmasters.com are not alone in this sphere... But still they have advantage of adult content! Reselling from them will be attractive for bigger amount of clients.
