If the company has two datacenters in different countries - UK and US - which one is better to use?
For instance - Innohosting.com has them.

As for me I'd use service that is in US because it's much cheaper and very reliable. Innohosting.com seems a nice company for that.

But I always prefer US based companies, innohosting.com at least leaves the choice of hosting services to their clients.

If to talk about choise of datacenters I would advise you to ook at santrex.net which offers three regions of dc location: US, Europe (France, Netherlands) and China. Some servers are offshore, making it possible to host everything. The services are very low cost, so I think there's a point in comparison...

The location of servers is a concern only if your website has some streaming audio/video files or some high dynamic data.. These sites need to have hosts which are close to the target audience.. Otherwise the geographical location of servers rarely makes a difference..

I consider that it's not only convenient for their customers but also wise.

If you ask me personally, I'd use US based service of innohosting.com. You know their network are the most stable and is always cheaper.

Though location is key in data center location, I would always go with US based data center.

It really depends on the location of your customers and what you want to target. If you are looking to target US customers use their US data center. Likewise for the UK data center.
