Shared Hosting Accounts are meant for one owner and come with one cPanel. You are able to host unlimited domains on a shared plan, you would simply add the additional domains to the “Addon Domains” section of your cPanel. Reselling is not permitted on shared hosting plans.

Reseller Hosting Accounts are meant for one owner who wishes to resell hosting and act as their own hosting company. Depending upon which reseller plan you choose, you can have anywhere from 10 to 250 cPanel accounts. On a reseller account, you would be able to set up each domain name so it has it’s own cPanel.

Additional advantages to having a reseller account include:

The ability to have multiple IP addresses or multiple SSL certificates.
Please note: SSL Certificates and additional ip addresses incur an additional fee.
The ability to control DNS zones.
The ability to use Private Name Servers.
The ability to use Anonymous Name Servers.
    Brandable Control Panel.
    FREE Hosting Billing System
    FREE eNom Domain Account
FREE Site Builder for your Clients

Shared Hosting Accounts are implied for one proprietor and accompany one cPanel. You can have boundless spaces on a common arrangement, you would just add the extra areas to the "Addon Domains" segment of your cPanel. Exchanging isn't allowed on shared facilitating plans.

I think both are different type of hosting and cannot compare with each other,
with reseller hosting you can start your own business by reselling it to your own clients.
whereas, In shared hosting you can host your site where server and its resources are shared with other users.

Reseller hosting and shared hosting are both web hosting options, but they differ in terms of their intended use and management.

Shared hosting involves multiple websites hosted on the same server, sharing its resources like CPU, RAM, and disk space. It is suitable for individuals or small businesses with limited needs, and the hosting provider manages server maintenance.

On the other hand, reseller hosting allows users to purchase hosting resources and create separate hosting accounts to sell to their clients.
