Have anyone used directAdmin hosting control panel ? What I have noticed was that its easy to but than cpanel. But Fantastico in cpanel makes directadmin no match for cpanel. Since Directadmine is cheaper than cpanel it would make ground if the get something like fantastico too.

yes i preffered directadmin cause its eats lesser memory than cpanel

I've never tried it.. I've only used Cpanel and dreamhosts own panel. (they made their own... it's okay )

Direct admin is better than cpanel if you have little memory or want to maximize your memory for web serving. But I don't think it is very user friendly. Cpanel is more user friendly and has a better mailing list. The DA mailing list is Majordomo and it is very difficult to use for newbies.

Direct Admin is user friendly than Cpanel But it doesn't has as much as features like cpanel. Specially lacking fantastico is a big blow.

I prefer vhcs because it's completely free and I love its template.

Monthly $29 / Yearly $200 / Lifetime $299. for DirectAdmin and for Cpanel its Full Cpanel Pro License $48/month + $5/month for Full Fantastico License But for VPS its like $20/month for both cpanel and Fantastico. Whatever the price we need it coz some of those features are essential to get things done fast and easy.

For directadmin you have http://www.installatron.com/ instead of fantastico and is $5 for a dedicated server.

I am using both directadmin and cPanel and i like them both.
