  • what control panel do you use?

    Hi all,

    what control panel do you use? This question is for shared hosting/reseller hosting/vps and dedicated server's owners (for all webmasters).
    Personally I use Virtualmin PRO and sometimes VHCS

    I use several web hosting control panels since I use 4-5 shared hosting accounts in various places. Mostly Cpanel but also DirectAdmin and Vista Panel too.

        If Cpanel is available it is the best choice but if not you have to consider about the alternatives. Direct Admin is the next best choice since its easy to use.

          shared hosting/reseller -> Cpanel.

          vps & dedicated server's -> Webmin.
          If the VPS/Dedicated is used for hosting then ISPConfig if you want it free or if you want to pay Plesk.

          But for VPS you can use cpanel it is only a 15$ license.

            I've been very satisfied with cPanel for my home hosting project I had, but as I see, hosting companies are developing their own administration panels to get ahead of their competition.. and I've been pretty satisfied with those too.

                I mostly use cPanel. I'm hosted at different places and they all use different ones.
                cPanel is definitely my favourite but I'm getting use to Vista Panel, which is another one I use the most.

                  Vista Panel is good as DirectAdmin though I haven't got much experience about it. I think DiectAdmin is bit more expensive than Vista panel.

                    I use Cpanel for Shared web hosting and WHM for Reseller Hosting. I really like these two because they are very user friendly and there is no complication in using them.

                      Our dedicated server doesn't have a control panel. We do all of the tasks from the shell, which I'm very comfortable with, but on the VPS we were going to use, we had cPanel.

                        Do you use your dedicated server just for your sites or do you sell space from it?
                        I would look into getting cPanel or something similar for my clients' convenience.

                          I use cPanel 11 currently although, I have been using Plesk on a site I admin for. I much prefer cPanel to Plesk which is hard to navigate I thought.
