Interactive Banners? Have been Effective for You?

Have you completely abandoned the idea of using interactive banners to promote your site?

I think that only stupid people actually still
"take picture of ...."
or
"Get 20 push ups before he does to get a free ringtone"
becuase everyone has seen them a million times and knows them, and if they have clicked on them before they will also know the offers are scams. So unless you come up witha radical new concept in interactive banners the will probable fail.
