Plesk V.S. CPanel

In your opinion which control panel for windows and linux seems better, Plesk or CPanel and why?

In my opinion I would say CPanel is better since it is easier to use but one problem that annoys me about CPanel is the file manager, its unorganized and it takes longer than expected to finish your job.

I am using cPanel and do not have any experience with Plesk.

Plesk is available with both the Windows as well as the Linux operating system , whereas cPanel is available with Linux operating systems only. However, cPanel/WHM 2008 will also be provided in windows hosting as well in near future.

Plesk is more reliable control panel for Windows hosting while cPanel is best for Linux hosting as per my view.

Have used both Plesk (Windows) and CPanel (Linux) and I found Plesk to be a bit better and more polished. When it comes to Windows control panels, I like both Plesk and Helm.

Now a days, most of the VPS hosting providers provides dotnetpanel with their plans. It is a good control panel for Windows hosting.

I guess my vote will go to cpanel. I never tried plesk yet but I am very contented with cpanel so I have no plans to shifting to something new.

I am very much satisfied with Cpanel. Its easy to user and very much user-frielnly. Everything is so convenient and is on my fingertips so there's no reason to switch to some other control panel. My vote goes to Cpanel.

CPanel due to user experience and its popularity. But they are highly comparable.

My experience so with cPanel has been very positive and they by far have the best support - without question the best support

They serve different use I believe. Plesk is mainly used for dedicated services while cPanel is the norm for shared hosting services. I am more acquainted to shared hosting so I'll pick cPanel though would consider Plesk and Virtuoso when I am on dedicated or managed server.
