Splash pages should be ignored completely as they aren’t really all that much useful. As an introduction, a splash page is usually places by people on their websites. To enter the website, the splash page contains some image or an animation. People also often hope that you will enter their website by clicking on a picture or some sign even if the page doesn’t say anything relevant to draw in customers. More work is created for your visitor as they have to click an extra mouse button to see the content of your site and that makes the splash page more pointless. Do you agree?
