Another option is Webmin this is a free panel and it doesn't take up much resources. Of course it isn't as easy to use as cpanel and doesn't have as many features.

ProxMox is Free. But Please dont confuse with SolusVM and cPanel/zpanel etc.
SolusVM is basically a VPS Host/Slave manager.

Its not a Hosting Control Manager like cPanel/WHM.
VestaCP, Froxlor , Ajenti and KloxoMR are other Free Control Panels.

Depend on what are you doing
cPanel / WHM is the best on the market IMO. Plesk is nice but lacks in my opinion. Ensim...well....as I said cPanel / WHM is my favorite.

You can try cPanel and Plesk Panel too. Many hosts provide these panel for free with their hosting services.
