Forum or Web?

If you were looking to make a forum, what would you go for? Web Hosting or Forum Hosting?

I choose web hosting, because with web hosting you can install forum or do whatever you like.

I would use forum hosting , i think it have everything you need to make a good forum and its a lot easier

For me their is only one choice and that is web hosting. I personally have never used forum hosting. However I cannot see myself using anything other than web hosting. I am so used to it, that I dont think forum hosting would make it easier, but rather probably a bit harder.

I'd go with forum hosting as it makes your life easier and guarantee you with support. I know that ServerPoint.com provides nice offer in terms of forum hosting: vBulletin, php, phpBB, etc.

I think web hosting would do a better job. With web hosting, you can easily host forums with all the features and you can also try other things if you want. You can easily host other types of websites and it will be more efficient.

i would go for a web hosting because i think they would be providing me more free space and bandwidth..thus more freedom..although i have never tried forum hosting..yet..am sure web hosting would be scoring more over that..but i may be wrong too..its just about experience you see..and if i get forum hosting sometime i'll be giving it a try for sure..

I would also choose webhosting. Because a lot of times forums wind up becoming more than just that. They all have plugins that can open up a world of features. If you have webhosting you can make those changes much easier.

I'm not sure a forum hosting is But I think theres no argument that the best thing is web hosting since you simple hosting package where you can do anything.

I got the idea of this thread because i still see many phpbb hosting services and because i used to use phpbb hosting services instead of web hosting

I would choose web hosting, because I would be able to do what ever I wanted with it, and add stuff that isn't a forum.
