SiteGround was my first web host. At the time, I had no idea what I was doing or what I was looking for. I chose them because of their prices. They were cheap. I definitely got what I paid for.

Their support was just plain horrible. I kept having downtime because of their overselling and they just told me to buy a dedicated server from them or take my site down.

I kept renewing though because I didn't know how to move a site from one host over to another and they wouldn't help me.

I also had to pay for support after a while. It was free in the beginning than they made a new thing where they would limit the amount of free support customers get. Once they passed that, it costs twelve dollars if they needed more help. Absolutely ridiculous.

That sounds like a terrible host. Specially when you have to pay for support too. But these happens sometime when things are too cheap. They try to gain from somewhere.
