  • GoDaddy support.

So last week I got all of my premium domains stolen, and then some.
I disputed it with PayPal, the other party won[because the account where the money came from was hacked into].
So I decided to go to GoDaddy for some help. They tell you to contact them if you want to stop a change, so I did.
They basically told me it's not their problem and to take care of it on my own.
My thing is, why offer support if you won't give it? They say contact them if you want to stop a change, I wanted to stop a change so I contacted them, they did nothing, I'm out hundreds of dollars and a bunch of great domains.

My advice to them is to be more secure. Anyone can break into a GoDaddy account and push domains. No confirmations are sent, just emails saying changes ARE being made.

Wow, sorry to hear about that...

I trust Godaddy and have been using them for years, never came across that problem.

Might want to choose a more secure password?

Oh man, that makes me feel worse about getting a domain name on Godaddy or any other site. I really think that you should make them do something, such as call your house number or answer a confirmation question before any changes can be made on your account.

Hmm that's scary. But I have used Godaddy for soo many years but yet to encounter any problems. Its true i think they should use a confirmation mail when transfer a domain i have to agree with that. They are super fast when come to domain transfers which is good in a way but what happened you is a really big problem.

You have been lucky for a few years then, GoDaddy is notorious for stealing domain names after people have registered with them.
