Hostgator...?

I am using host gator hosting. I used promo code to get register, so first month bill was 1 cent only. But from next month onward coming more.

I used host gator in the past, it was 'alright', huge server loads ultimately made me move. The support sucked (at the time).

When was that? Several years ago, I used HostGator shared and dedicated hosting, and was very pleased with the service and support of both. It surprises me to hear of a bad experience. Sorry for your trouble.

Lunarpages.com offer similar products and similar prices to hostgator, lunarpages has been great and hostgator is not better than then

HostGator is Spendy but Excellant

HostGator was my first hosting provider. They actually have a toll free phone number to call for sales and support. They are expensive though! I am paying $6.95/month to host a few websites just because I ama too lazy to move them to my servers.

I would much rather go through sites like http://MyHostStore.com where I can email tech support for a faster response than waiting on hold for HostGator and where I only pay $14 per year for more features!

Oh, and there are getting to be more free hosting sites that are very good too. Just beware!

Have you ever tried any other website hosting companies? It's true you are generally safer with big website hosting companies like HG and GoDaddy, but why pay more if you can get the same great service from a website hosting company and pay only $1/mo?

I used hostgator hosting for about a year and my experiences are satisfying to say the least. Their server is quite fast and is good for large sites also. Now they also supports new cpanel which is very easy to use.

Hostgator is one of the best web hosts around, their reviews are really good.
But if you are interested on something more than just a host, like a hosting provider that drives traffic to your site to ensure your success, then you should go for site build it they put in a really good twist in web hosting and that's driving traffic to your site which is more important than any other feature.

I have used HotGator more than 1 year. Are good but when you go over 100-200 gb of hosting they will close your account .. I dont know why and you will not get a refund..

I'm not sure about Hostgator. Sure they have great prices and offers, but I only tried to contact them once and they were useless. I talked to someone of their support on their chat and he/she didn't even answer my questions. I was about to creating an account there, but obviously I didn't at the end.
