  • Can I really save with annual billing?

    Hi!

Currently paying for hosting about five bucks a month, I have found the offers of dayanahost.com which is offering hosting from ten bucks per year! I think this could be really saving... Or annual billing has some hidden things I have to know about?

You cannot expect much in the way of quality or support for $10/year. Many hosts will give you a couple of months free or a free domain name when you purchase annually, but going annual requires commitment on your end. It is very unlikely that if you purchase an annual package and you want to cancel 5 months in that you will get any sort of refund.

You can save money with annual billing, because there are plenty of hosts that offer a discount on annual billing compared to monthly for example 1 month free. It's all about finding the right deals. It doesn't necessarily mean the support you get as a result suffers.

And if you worry about not getting a refund if you cancel 5 months in, contact the host before signing up and ask about it. There's hosts that do refund the unused months, and hosts that don't.

$10 a year is unheard of. You probably won't be satisfied with the service, uptime, options, etc. There are many quality hosting companies to choose from and they are not that expensive, bluehost, dreamhost, etc.

Annual fees will indeed save you bucks but also keep in mind, just in case if you need to switch web hosting, you will lose some bucks. But $10 per year seems quite a fair deal. If the web hosting provider is good then you should grab it.

i wouldnt go with a host that is offering $10 a year... Sounds like a scam host who will be gone in a month or 2.

Go with the annual billing will benefit in terms of resource. Here you get more disk space & bandwidth. Moreover you can also get discount here. Most important think is some web host provide free domain registration with annual billing so you can avail this offer.

It is dangerous paying the full annual amount for a hosting company that may disappear tomorrow. If you need to make annualized payment, stick with big hosting companies like hostgator.

There is no harm in paying annually to your web host. If you provide annual payment then you will be free from payment reminders & your web host will get whole year payment in one installment so he can use this money for business development. It means both are benefited.

It really depends on the company with which you're dealing with. Don't trust the testimonials as they may be bogus. Ask around in forums (or post them here) and see what comes up. Chances are the company giving away $10/year will disappear in a matter of weeks.

I really think so, that you can save. Taking into cosideration such company as just199.com I suppose their deals making annual billing cost about 20 bucks is much cheaper than to pay $ five/mo for the same specs!

In most cases you would find the annual hosting options as the best choices compared with semiannual or quarterly packages because the set up fees would be omitted.

$10 per year ,so cheapest. But do not be attracted by figures, turn your attention to some basical and decisive factors which judged the hosting, also customer service is an important factor.

One another way is to know the money back guarantee period of host. Generally in this period if you withdraw your hosting, you get the full refund. Hence, adopt this way. Host your site with any reliable host & if you are dissatisfied, cancel your hosting within money back guarantee period.
