I've been at the net since the early 1990's and a lot of things has happened the last 30 years. Especially - all the best .COM names are already taken. I registred my first .COM domain back in 1995 and at that time there were no problem to find a good .COM name registred.

I really don't know how popular it is to register other TLDs than .COM and .NET or .ORG? Maybe here in Europe .EU will be popular in the future.
