  • Choosing a PHP Web Host

A little information about PHP would be helpful. It is a very popular server side programming language that can be embedded into HTML. Its popularity has been aided by the following features:

    *It is free.
    *Easy to learn and use.
*It is a fully object oriented language.
    *It is platform independent.
*Its speed on the Linux server makes it very effective in building complex, and large web applications.
*It allows advanced programming and is very easy to integrate with web pages.
*PHP also integrates very nicely with MYSQL.

I think the most important thing, is that the same code can be used on either Linux or Windows hosts. Not having to look for a specific hosting type makes migrating your PHP coded site to a new host or designing a new site in PHP and finding a host much easier.

PHP is very important platform which all webmaster and web designers have to know very well. It can work fine on any server, but it is not all that easy to learn and use, unless you are a programmer.

PHP hosting lets your Website take advantage of all the features of the open-source PHP scripting language. PHP was adapted from Perl and C. If you have any experience with these programming languages then picking up PHP should be fairly easy.PHP scripts are written into HTML and are executed on the server side.PHP Hosting is not an option for Website owners who want to use Active Server Pages or Visual Basic, both of which require a server running windows.
