Removing account

I am desperately seeking help here. I need to get rid of my account from one of the article directories. I submitted my site to a few article directories some months ago. In hindsight, I think it was not a good move. I get ridiculous emails from sites. Now I am tempted to unsubscribe. I need to remove my account for this purpose. I browsed many links but couldn’t find a way out. How do I go about it? Does anyone have any experience in this? Please share your experiences and knowledge with me.

I've got the same experience with you. The email box stuffed with spam, I have nothing to do but give up to use that mailbox.
Maybe you can contact with that website owner to clarify your opinion.

You must a separate email address for this purpose. The spammers are very often the owners of these directories. You must change your email because you will never escape from these spammers.
