  • Where To Buy Servers From

Does anyone have any suggestions to buy a server from. I have a budjet of $100/Month and want a minimum of 1000 GB bandwidth and 60 GB space. I have one person who has made me an offer and i am thinking of going with him but does anyone else know any good spots to get servers from?

I would search google for servers etc and it will come up with some of the best, go about the same way as buying hosting and even if you budget is cheap never buy of ebay!

I have never had a dedicated server before.....

But I have heard good things about servermatrix and theplanet. (Just google them for their sites)

They both offer several different servers that you can have at a variety of prices. With several different features and such.

go for GoDaddy of 1&1 ...actually i would choose any of the big names if my project is serious...otherwise consider less expensive deals as well

i don`t think you can find a managed server for 100$ but you can look for unmanaged dedicated servers, and you can get a nice one bellow 100$

Thats budget is not unreasonable for a managed dedicated server. Just do a lot of research to ensure your getting a good host.
Since your budget is on the low side beware of shady host with bad service, but it is doable. Check out bigger providers that have data centers they often have cheap dedicated servers for as low as 50-60 bucks, but then often superb managing service for another 50 bucks, bringing the total to your budget price.
