As a customer i prefer to support the tickets, but as a seller i prefer the forum, as other members can easily see my response. This is the simple reason.

From my customer’s point of view I would go for support tickets. But as a seller I always prefer forums where other users can see my posts and I won’t have to write the same thing again.

The problem with the live chat is being "abused". Customers would like to be spoon helps even the smallest details being sought. If the live chat can filter unnecessary request support, this is one of the most direct way to address customer concerns.

Instant messaging is what I like personally as it lets me send multiple messages to different people at the same time and opt for video calling.
