Hi everyone,
I'm curious about how you guys choose Linux hosting for your websites. There are so many hosting plans out there that it can be hard to figure out which features are actually worth paying for.
For a basic business website, a simple shared hosting plan might be enough. But what happens when you install more WordPress plugins, get more visitors or add new features? That's when things like memory limits, database performance and backup options can start to matter.
Personally, I'd like to know what other website owners check before signing up. Do you look at the server resources first, or is good customer support more important to you? How much attention do you pay to backups and security updates?
I'm also wondering whether it's better to start with a cheaper plan and upgrade when needed, or pay a little more upfront to avoid running into limits later.
If you've used Linux hosting for a while, I'd love to hear your experience. Have you ever had to change providers because your original plan couldn't keep up with your website?
What would you recommend checking before making that decision?
