  • Tumblr and AWS Hosting Alternatives to VPS

    Hi,
I need to scale down my hosting from expensive VPS with Knownhosts as I just can't afford it right now anymore. I have about 30 domains/websites I would like to find a new home and just host about 5 websites with AWS for the 1 year free trial.

My plan is something like this at the moment but it is in draft stage so that is why I'm here to get help to work out how I can do this.

I would like to host 2 X PhpBB forums, only quiet at this stage
host about 3 or 4 wordpress websites with minimal traffic.

The rest of my sites are currently mainly wordpress sites that I would like to maybe move to free blog hosting services like Blogger or Tumblr. I know Tumblr allow you to use your own domain, I'm not sure Blogger do or if there are other places I can use?

I'm also tired of updating and maintaining this many wordpress sites with all the plugins and themes that need constant attention.

I can save $70au a month if i can get rid of the VPS for now. In one year I would expect to be back on track financially and can get a VPS then again if I need it.

So some questions I have are:

    1. Will I be able to host a couple of Phpbb forums and a 3 or 4 wordpress sites on AWS, on one account? and will I be able to do this without cost?
    2. How would it be to host my other domains on free W2 blogs?
    3. Will I be able to still use Google analytics, Adsense and is there a tool to help me move my wordpress posts to these blogs?
    4. Any other things I should consider?
