How much RAM does my website need?

I have a site 1000 visitors a day, would like to transfer it to a new VPS. How much RAM does my website requirement? I don't mind hosting it on some hosting control panel. What is your recommendation?

I think 4-6 GB RAM is more then enough for you, But if you can measure your current RAM usage, would be awesome, and then you could find the best VPS.

1000 visitors a day aren't too much if your hosting provider is using server-side caching technologies like Varnish and/or NGINX. A 1 GB server would be enough for you. However, you need to keep an eye on the concurrent visitors (the number of visitors at the same time). If the concurrent visitors are more than 30, then, you need to scale up the server.
