Please help me with SEO

I hope this forum is related to SEO, and my queries will be solved. Recently, I had joined a forum, thinking that it is an SEO forum. However, it was a totally technical forum that did not address my query. I got weird answers from the members. Anyways, I want to know what I should do in order to help my site perform well. Suddenly, my site’s position has dropped to 10 from 2. Sometimes, I do not see my site on the fifth result page. What should I do in order to get back to my previous ranking and position?
