I really like Linode.com myself, theyve been around for almost 5 years and really started the VPS community and have a very well established customer base. I dont think they will flat out disapeer.

Its managed as well.

The vps/dedicated servers are little expensive but I can say its control panel (billing system too) is very good.
I installed it on my servers about 2 years ago.

I've used VPS's for a long long time, and for me one of the bests companys arround is rapidvps.com, fast , on moment activation , no "whys" just a great service.

So if I understand good, a VPS is used for hosting games on the internet, without the need to host the games from your home computer is that correct? This might be worth getting one to use it as a dedicated server.
