i would say .com more ppl are fimilar with the .com and not the .net trust me.

I think most traffic comes from search engines anyway and it does not matter. For resale purposes the majority agree with the two posters above me.

both .com and .net are trusted extensions and well known. Although i would say .com because more people are familiar with the .com and it thought to be more precious extension

I'd say .com for the reasons already mention, but it also depends on what is available (obviously) and what sounds best with your site name.

Go for .com unless you have some specific need for the other TLD. Reselling a .com domain would also be high in value.
