Would you be interested in becoming your own webhost?

[cccwebmedia]

I'm thinking about writing an e-book detailing how you can set up your own webhosting company. This e-book will include all the tricks I have used to develop my own succesful business.

Before I spend the time writing this (and it is a lot of information) I need to know how many people would buy it and say $10, $20 or $30.

So let me know what you would be willing to pay for this sort of information and if there is enough demand I will write the book.

Personally, no I wouldnt buy it for my own use.

BUT! If lets say I had to drop $20 for this e-book and I could offer it to my clients for free (depending on the quality of the advice) that might be attractive to some already thriving hosts.

Actually you can run your own webhost without spending a penny. Just join an affiliate program like ResellerPanel which can provide you a private branded site with all the necessary support. All you have to do is decide on you webhost rates and sell.

If I understood right you want people to pay you for access to your pages info ? I don't think they will trust someone so easy ...

Right. It takes too much time.

While I love the concept of having a web hosting service, I think it would take too much time. Especially if I try to run the whole thing myself. I would need a team of folks.

Re: Would you be interested in becoming your own webhost?

Yea,
I'd probably buy it because I want a nice detailed guide on how to start my own small business and make it large. No more than $15-20 for this though.

I am not sure this would be good for me. Seems like you would have to have a lot of technical knowledge to operate something on this scale.

Plus there are already so many hosting companies available that the competition would really be fierce.

I think I would leave this alone.
