I like PHP language, it is great server side scripting language. And It is also easy to learn. But first all decide what purposes you want to learn the language and then choose one of them. Normal basis always want to learn these two languages wither so I recommend you go with PHP, is an open source language.

Well, according to me PHP is little bit easy than ASP. The language is easy to learn. A search for php and Hello World comes from copies of a simple script to write one line of text on the screen. Within minutes, the beginning programmer to see a tangible result of a script of self- written.
