Indexing and Crawling

I want to know that what is the difference between Indexing and Crawling ? tell me ..

Crawling is the reading of your webpage source by spiders or search engine bots. After a successful crawling of your webpage it is provided with a cache certificate. Once the webpage receives the cache certificate it is entitled to be updated to search engine database. The updation to the search engine database is known as indexing of your webpage in search engines.

Search engines use spiders and bots to crawl your website for indexing and ranking. Your site can only be included in search engine results pages if it is in the search engine’s index.

Crawling means the visit of Google to track your web pages and this process is done by Spider of Google crawler. Indexing means when crawling has been done putting the results on Google’s index .

Both are same but index is done on basis of your sitemap while crawling in on robots.
