As per my knowledge Google dance is basically a fluctuation in ranking which can be cause due to the google algorithm updates. I prefer to just keep doing the link building as normal and wait for the stability in the ranking. Please let me know if I am wrong somewhere.

For me, there is nothing called "dance". It is just a slightly ranking change when google update their ranking factor. We can fix it by better on page and internal link optimization. Hope this is helpful
