It seems like msn is able to list my websites much faster than google.
Does this has to do something with the indexing algorithm of search engine?

Generally many people used to say MSN indexes the website faster than google.
But with Sitemap creation, google indexes all your webpages faster and more up-to-date with changes on my website, but Yahoo and MSN seem to take a longer time to update their index.Comment

I prefer that Google is the fastest and best search engine as compare with the MSN. The reason is that Google provides huge information in some movements as per your requirements. Another thing is that Google aslo provides the information in different languages which is its beneficial factor.Comment

Yes, I think you are right. All keywords have high competition in Google, but on msn, they may have some other algorithm to rank your website. Just check out on what the main difference is between you and the one who is ranked on 1st for your keyword on Google and MSN. By doing this you can find out what is the reason your website is not ranked in Google and is ranked in MSN.Comment

Yes, i agree with you too, google has much competition for keywords and it takes time to list. Google and MSN have different algorithms. Free submissions normally takes time to list and you can try for paid listing and check you luck.Originally posted by sarahjones View PostComment

For me, it does not matter if Google indexes faster than MSN or vice versa. I usually optimize my articles based on what Google wants because I know that this is the search engine of choice for most people. I do this because I know that if I got Google indexing my articles, all other search engines will follow suit.Comment
