      High traffic handling is something that depends heavily on the quality of your server, but cms-wise:
      • Wordpress is known for being the best tool to build blogs, though it is also used for bigger websites.
      • Drupal is popular among hardcore developers and its robustness is very popular.
      • Joomla is very suitable too, much easier than Drupal and on its way to improve the core speed (there's been a Google Summer of Code project only to improve a lot of SQL queries). It would be my choice.
