I have used both the cms and I find both are good but for using and different modern features word-press is the best. It has ease ways to use customize and also seo friendly.

Anyone can control the c panel as well. Different plugin are best and these make the staff easier for me.

Already Wp take 80% web design market with them. I dont think it might change a lot after 10 years as well!

Wordpress and Joomla are CMS (Content Management Systems).

Wordpress is the most widely used CMS because of the quality and quantity of the plugins available. You can turn a wordpress site easily into an e-commerce site or a social network with just the installation of a plugin.

Wordpress has an edge over Joomla in SEO and UI as well. Joomla is more flexible or atleast was.

Since wordpress was initially launched as a blogging platform, Joomla was the CMS that people turned to when they wanted to create a complex site as it had a more user friendly environment than drupal (which is the best CMS for very complex sites) but now, wordpress has evolved and it is possible to create a fairly complex site using wordpress.

When going for a very complex site, drupal is a better alternative than both joomla and wordpress. Drupal is not as user friendly as wordpress or joomla but it is more powerful to be honest.

WordPress is well-known for its straightforward and fast installation process. The site can be online in just about five minutes even when it’s your first. And after the initial log in, users usually don’t take much to understand the basics of WordPress.

Joomla is quite simple as well. The installation process is very similar to WordPress’, and many hosting companies feature one-click installation software. Unfortunately, similarities kind of stop here because Joomla feels more complicated to handle after that.

I don't have any experience with Joomla, but I have been using WordPress for my whole life. However, I've heard that apparently, Joomla is more flexible than WordPress. Nevertheless, the crown goes to WordPress because it is more straightforward, and it's all about SEO, customization possibilities, and content management. By the way, I can teach you how to build a website on Wordpress, if you wish.

                  Hello david980john,

Joomla and WordPress are popular content management systems (CMS). However, there are many differences between Joomla and WordPress. Joomla is used to publish web components and online applications, and develop dynamic websites, while WordPress is a blog platform. Joomla is more complex and can be used to create websites, while WordPress is simpler and mainly used for blogging. Joomla also has more features than WordPress, but WordPress is easier to use.

The primary difference between WordPress and Joomla is that Joomla started as a CMS meant to serve portal-like websites, while WordPress was originally a blog-focused platform. However, WordPress and Joomla are capable of running any website these days.

Joomla is a more robust and complex platform, while WordPress is more user-friendly and simpler. Joomla is better for larger sites, while WordPress is better for smaller sites. Joomla has more features and options, while WordPress has fewer options but is easier to use.

                  Joomla:
                  • Powerful and extensible
                  • Can handle complex websites
                  • Great for businesses that need a custom solution
                  WordPress:
                  • User-friendly and easy to use
                  • Perfect for small businesses or personal websites
                  • Multiple plugins and themes are available.

Hence, Joomla and WordPress are both excellent platforms in their areas. You can choose any of them depending upon your website requirements.

I hope the above-given information helps you understand the difference between Joomla and WordPress.
