Basically, an HTML sitemap allows site visitors to easily navigate a website. HTML is a bulleted outline text version of the site navigation. It can also be created in XML format and submitted to search engines so they can crawl the website in a more effective manner.

There are two types of sitemap. One is XML and another one is HTML. HTML is for visitors to view our all internal links in one page and XML is for robot to crawl our website.

An HTML sitemap is an HTML page on which all subpages of a website are listed. ... In contrast to XML sitemaps, HTML sitemaps are mainly created for users, as they help them to get an overview of the structure of your site and to navigate through all the subpages.

          Hello Shivam,

"An HTML sitemap means a file that lists all the important pages of a website that you want search engines like Google to index. Indexing refers to how search engines keep your landing pages and store them in their database. The search engine refers to this database to respond to user search engine queries. And see your site on top of SERP."

            Hello Shivam Tripathi

            Good Morning

"HTML sitemaps can 100% help us so you have a link to your root page and then if you have an HTML sitemap, we can crawl those links to find the rest of the pages on your site. In plus, users like it because sometimes they want to find out what's all the stuff going on in your site and they want to see."

An HTML sitemap is an HTML page on which all subpages of a website are listed. It is usually linked in the footer of a site and is therefore visible to all visitors
