Database selection

[selina]

Which Database will you prefer for your site??

[johnsonsteve040]

The selection of the database must be exact and accurate according to needs. Most preffered database that can be used can be micrisoft access or My SQL 2005 to create database as they provides the necessary tools of DML to create, update or delete the data.

Using MYSQL

If the administrator creates your database for you when setting up your permissions, you can begin using it. Otherwise, you need to create it yourself :

mysql> CREATE DATABASE menagerie;

It generally depends upon your site and requirements. You can consider MySQL or Microsoft MSSQL database according to the website developed and host on the server.
