There are so many book available in the market for VBScript and JavaScript that provide good knowledge to you but as per the VBScript and JavaScript concern i am always preferred with "Web Developer's Guide to JavaScript & VBScript : Your Complete Guide to Creating Live,Interactive Online Applications" book that provide great knowledge about VBScript and JavaScript. This is best book for you to know about VBScript and JavaScript.

I have to tell you that VBScript will work only for Internet Explorer browser. Don't spend your money for Javascript books, there are tons of tutorials for Javascript in the net, w3schools/com/ is the best place for me.
