What is difference between Html and php .??

Hi ,
I just know about Html language and have not information about php.
I want to know the difference between Html and php language .?
Can anyone explain it .??

Html is a Hyper text markup language it is basic building block of creating web pages. we can add images text,tables, links in web pages.which can be view in web browser.
but only Html is not enough to create website. We need to send and recieve data over different servers. Html does not sent information or data on network so we need a language that sent information over internet.scripting language are used to do this task.there are many scripting languages. such as PHP, asp.net. java etc. these languages are easily embedded with html thats why they are widely used
