well php is embedded with html to make it work perfectly....they are interconnected and they coexist...though i prefer using html...since it s very easy to learn

They both have their own ads and disads. But I wud like to recommend PHP. Since various functionalities you cant find in HTML while it comes for web designing...

Of course, PHP! There is really no limit on it. You could create anything. It's the next level of coding. I'd been using it for 4 years so far and I'm satisfied with it.

Both language are good, I am always use this language in my web designing. HTML is much easy as compare to PHP programming language. HTML stands for Hypertext markup anguages and PHP stands for Hypertext preprocessor.

Lets say you want to change the links in your footer, or you want to update the copyright notice or something like that. With straight HTML you will need to edit eahc page individually. This can be quite a chore if you have hundreds of pages! But with an include just change one file.The great thing about using php is that you can use includes. For example if you use a PHP include for your footer you will be able to make changes to the footers on all of your pages by changing only one file.

It depends on the language you are comfortable with. I am familiar with both the language but I think PHP is quite easy to cope up with and even you can build a good site with that.
