    Recommended a free software

    I'd just like to post some free programs that I find extremely useful.

    - Filezilla (filezilla.sourceforge.net)
    very convenient FTP client, open source

    - notepad++
    A great text editor for editing all kinds of code. Supports syntax highlighting for html, css, php and many more. Extremely useful.

    - Multiple Image Resizer .NET (www.multipleimageresizer.net)
    useful for editing a lot of pictures at once (bulk editing).
    features resizing, reducing quality, adding border, captions.

    - AscToTab (http://www.jafsoft.com/asctotab/?home&p=AscToTab)
    converts text files in to html tables, with very little formatting. The tables are then ready for editing with css. Very useful if you write your page in html and you have a table that you want to convert into html code.
    What-you-see-is-what-you-get programs do a bad job of this, since they produce complex html code that is unsuitable for html editing

    - Rename It (https://sourceforge.net/projects/renameit/)
    useful for renaming multiple files. Can save A LOT of time.
    I mainly use it to rename images.

    Ty very much for this softwares. Most of them i know, i agree notepad is a great text editor, really easy to use and you can build a whole website with him.
    I might download some of those softwares later, really nice theard.

          i used filezilla for ftp. filezilla ftp client is full version and free for all. previously i used cuteftp shareware version.

              Thank you very much for softwares, filezilla is good fpt client but i m using CuteFTP for my websites and i also use notepad++ , its a really nice software. Will try Rename it and see how it works. Thanks again

                Thanks summer for nice list.

                anyone tried AceFTP. Its a good free FTP. I have used filezilla also, but AceFTP is better than Filezilla.

                  From the free list above I have used Filezilla and Notepad++, they are very usefull and the main thing they are free If you can't afford buying Cuteftp then you can go for filezilla and for coding Notepad++ is a great software
